The Creature and Frankenstein describe their birth and upbringing. We see Frankenstein  experience joy, loss, and his schooling beginnings at Ingolstadt. The Creature starts to find his way in a new world and takes shelter near a poor family.

The Creature - Chapter Two: The Secrets of Heaven and Earth

Frankenstein listens to the lectures of Professor Waldman and begins to experience the start of  madness while the Creature learns language and the meaning of kindness. Frankenstein  experiments with a new idea and toils away in his laboratory. The Creature questions why he was  brought to life.

The Creature - Chapter Three: Fine Form of Man

The seasons change and Frankenstein experiences a breakthrough in his experiments. We  flashback to the night the Creature was born and hear what transpired.

The Creature - Chapter Four: Death, Which I Feared

The Creature summons the courage to approach the family who lives in the cottage. Frankenstein  is nursed back to health by his friend Henry Clerval and begins a new field of study.

The Creature - Chapter Five: The Best People in the World

Frankenstein receives a startling letter and travels home to Geneva. The Creature begins his  journey of vengeance against Frankenstein that ends in death. Frankenstein travels through the  Alps and comes face-to-face with the Creature.

The Creature - Chapter Six: You Are All So Fragile

The Creature asks for the unthinkable and Frankenstein promises to give in to his unholy demand. Captain Walton continues to write down the story aboard the frozen ship as Frankenstein recalls his departure home to begin his gruesome task but cannot complete his experiment.

The Creature - Chapter Seven: A Filthy Process

Death comes once again to Frankenstein and he is thrown once more into madness. He begins to  chase the Creature once again in vengeful madness as their journey takes them both to the Arctic.

The Creature - Chapter Eight: Like Father, Like Son

Frankenstein's tale comes to an end and Captain Walton makes a promise on his friend’s death bed. Captain Walton and the Creature meet for the first time resulting in the Captain deciding to turn his ship around and begin the long journey home.
