This Cold Blooded DJ and aspiring producer from Kobe, Japan has been mixing for only 10 months. He was first inspired to start DJ'ing after listening to different kinds of club Music in VRChat. He actually credits M4TTy and Getty for influencing his DJ style. He's played at a few venues in VRChat including OMNIA, Snowgrid, Lyoko, Monday Relief, Wired, and Vaultage which was the event where I heard him for the first time. It was an extremely fun set. His favorite genres to mix are all based around Bass and Club Music. For this mix specifically, he chose to mix some of his favorite tracks that he's been enjoying as of late, one of which includes Tiyya Anthem. He said the melodic sound with fast jersey kicks really heals his soul.

Outside of DJing he and his family enjoy singing. He actually was the lead vocalist in a band that played pop and J-Pop music, and one of his favorite non-electronic songs is First Love by Hikaru Utada. This DJ from Dumb Ol' Texas has been mixing since 2013. Long ago when he was in Middle School, he attended a rave at an anime convention. The DJs played Happy Hardcore all night, which led to him becoming obsessed with S3RL and he wanted to do anything to get on a stage with a DJ. Since starting in VR about a year ago he's played at a lot of venues and pop-ups including but not limited to: Rift VR shoutout to Aztec, Spyral which was his first venue, Club Yerba, Kaleidosky, Kimexa's RNG, Noise Complaint, Backdrop Shoutout Nilla, TUNL shoutout J11, Concrete, and more popups than he can count. When I asked him what genres he really likes playing, he told me that he's really bad at describing genres and that he plays way too many, but the rough answer would be Hardcore, Techno, Funk/NuDisco, and Bass House. About 4 years ago he actually decided to put his decks up and stopped playing all together. He thought that was it. The fact that he was able to dust off his decks last year and continue playing has been the most rewarding part of the whole experience in VR so far. He also doesn't produce music, but he plays synths for other producers. Who knows maybe there will be some ID's in the future. 

For today's mix, he told me that since finding out about his episode he was bouncing around ideas for a mix-up until early this month. He's been on a hardcore kick for a while, then one afternoon he decided to explore a techno folder that he hadn't played yet. He was blown away by what was in the folder. That same night, Tessa Yessa was playing at Shelter and dropped a song called "Family on Acid". It was an instant download for him, and he then decided that he was going to play a techno set for today but he wanted to play it in a way that kept you guessing throughout. There are hints of Acid Techno, Dark Techno, Free Techno, and other genres sprinkled throughout. He doesn't want to spoil his favorite song in the mix, but he said that fans of Hotline Miami will know which one it is.

Outside of DJing, he is obsessed with Coffee, Wine, Spirits, Beer, and pretty much any beverage. If you want to start a conversation with him, just ask him about any of those. His favorite non-edm song is Robot Stop by King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, and He also used to play way too much World of Warcraft. The last time he played was during WoW's Sixth expansion named Legion. He played as a Tauren Paladin named BuffaloWings. I actually asked him what it would take for him to get back into it, and he told me something along the lines of "If anyone is even thinking about playing it I'm in".

Finally, there's always something brewing, however, at the time of this airing, he would've finished playing a live gig in San Diego. Shoutout to Gpot the GodPot, Ikra, Pizza Princess, and Kveta who I will also wish a happy belated birthday to.
