1. Why did you choose to become an artist?
 
“I don’t think this is something we choose; everyone could be an artist. We all have this potential inside of us, but I think it’s easier for some people to get to the creative state of mind. The mind is a muscle, and if you train it enough, it’ll get to where you’re able to constantly create.”
 
2. What do you do to get into a creative state?
 
“I try to keep myself in this state all the time with different activities. For example, I started acting classes not long ago and it really helps me to improve my art. I am more of an introvert and sometimes the creative state depends not only on you but also the people you meet and spend time with, so with acting I’m able to tap into my extrovert-self. Also, I try to surround myself with many different artists because I think having that shared energy is important.”
 
3. What, for you, is the purpose of art?
 
“To inspire. If you can inspire even one person with your art, that’s great.”
 
4. What do you love most about being an artist?
 
“When I was a kid, I knew one thing for sure, I didn’t want to work a 9am - 5pm office job. I am super happy that I own my time and spend it in the way I want; that’s one of the best things about being an artist to me.”
 
5. In which ways could the scene improve in the future?

“I hope to see more people getting famous because of their music, not just blogging all around socials. The competition is bigger than ever these days, so I think it’s important to see more quality over quantity.”

The name of the young and talented bulgarianDj – Izabella began increasingly to be associated with some of the best events in the club calendar of Bulgaria. Her love for electronic music and passion for parties, as well as her artistic talents developed from an early age, naturally bring her to the stage. Her first gig was in club “Lifehouse” in 2014 at age of 18. The energy she transmitted to the audience briefly ensured her gigs in most of clubs in the country, among them : ”Cacao Beach”, “Plazma”, “Oxygen”, “Underpool Arena”, “Winter Palace”, ”Universiada hall”, “Party center 4km”, “Tema”, “Masai”, “Incognito”, “Enigma”, “Rubik art center”, ”Brass&Chrome”, “Mirafiori”, “Fabrika 126”, “Prostranstvo 108”, ”Playground”, “Wake Up”, “High club”, ”Live&Loud”, ”Jules Verne”, ”Onyx” , beach bar “Mania”, beach bar “Iguana”, “Boombar” and major events such as: “Chalkidiki adventure”, “Electrosphere festival”, “Bedouin festival”, ”The Exclusive Summer Vibes” and “Maskarlad”.
The talent of Izabella was quickly spotted outside Bulgaria. In the list of her performances abroad she already have recorded two gigs in Belgrade: in club “SvemirskaKafana” and a year later in club ”Underground”. In October 2016 Izabella was part of one of the biggest music festivals – Amsterdam Dance Event. After that Izabella made her first gigs in Chalkidiki,Greece, Barcelona,Spain – club City Hall , Oldenburg,Germany – Studio B, Sokobanja,Serbia – club “Uno”andLeer,Germany -KulturzentrumZollhaus. From 2018 Izabella is resident DJ for Techno Tourette, Germany and during the summer she made her debut in the most magical party island on Earth – Ibiza. In the end of 2018 Izabella won the prize ‘Best DJane for Bulgaria’ from the famous contest of DJaneMag. 
She has been on one stage with artists like: Spartaque, MarikaRossa, Victor Ruiz, Eric Sneo, MladenTomic, SinisaTamamovic, Lea Dobricic, Nusha, Florian Frings, Hollen, UtoKarem, Alberto Ruiz, Alex Mine, Dema, Secret Cinema, Enrico Sangiuliano, Gaga, Mateo, Timmo, Balthazar &JackRock, Mat Sassari , Skober, Steve Mulder, The Yellowheads, Medhat&Dekkstrum , PhutureTraxx, Toby Rost, Sebastian Groth, Dr. Adji, A-Brothers, Mat.Joe, Thabo Getsome, Me&her, RanchaTek, Lützenkirchen, Fell Reis, T78, Rectoor and many others.
Recently she started experimenting in the field of producing, there are several released remixes, and a track with serbian DJ Dr.Adji. Izabella started 2020 with EP for Prospect Records and then she released a remix for the same label, including her own vocal.
Izabella is distinguished by a specific style of mixing – a perfect combination of techno tracks with thick bass line and melodic vocals.
