My closing set of the Neverending Story stage @ The Gardens of Babylon's first three day festival: The Monastery.  
It was such a special moment for me to close that stage after having experienced the beauty of this festival the whole weekend before.
Closing or morning hour sets are always the most special ones to me, as a dancer as well as a DJ. The energy and vibe is just different... Anyways, have fun on this little journey with me <3

Time to get EXCITED!!! 

Before you the first release of our magical time together at The Monastery. The honour to kick off the new series on our SoundCloud is going to one of our all time favourite beings, Gabriel Belmudes.. 

Our friendship goes back to the early months of The Gardens of Babylon, when he got introduced to us by Rico Savan also known as SAVVAN. We have been close ever since and could not embark this festival adventure without him.

We initially booked him for The Odd Ones Out Stage, but the universe had a different plan for him and rightly so. We were in need of a strong sound at The Dark Side during the same set times as Satori. A task perfect for Gabriel. 

It was a beautiful set received by a beautiful crowd.

The magic of The Monastery continues.. Following the amazing set of Gabriel Belmudes, we continue The Monastery series with a set recorded in The Odd Ones Out.  

The Sound Shapes entered our lives as we took a trip to Milan. We have felt a deep connection ever since. They were one of the first to find out about our plans at The Monastery. We are grateful until this day that they joined us and shared their beautiful music.

Time to return once again to The Monastery grounds....

Angel, sweet angel....

It's about to get real. Before you the set by none other than Oliver Koletzki. Oliver first appeared in our lives when we bumped into one of his morning sets at Burning Man. 

Blown.
Away.

But that's how these things go..
More than a couple of months later we are bound to meet for the first time when he joins Wild as the Moon to support his protegé and our love Sam Shure. We meet a tall, handsome, some what quirky guy that was locked inside our hearts from the first second.

We can not explain the feeling we had when we booked him for the first time. It was a mixture of pure excitement, happiness and hysterical joy. His set at The Monastery kept us locked at The Monastery stage. 

Enjoy, go back or close your eyes and imagine the beautiful first time Oliver Koletzki shared his music with our crowd.

Welcome to heaven. You are about to embark on a musical journey that is mentioned several times as one of the best sets performed at The Monastery. It will instantly take you (back) to three magical days. We asked Jose to close The Odd Ones Out stage and with that the festival on Monday morning. 

It turned into hours of magic. 

Find him for sure at our ADE Showcase on Sunday 21 October and with NYE in Amsterdam. This is one to watch.

Jose, we will never forget your radiant smile at the festival. We can't wait to explore more of this beautiful collaboration. You are and always will be in our heart.

The Monastery 2018 - Jose Noventa at The Odd Ones Out

Hello you,

How is September treating you so far? We love this month. The season changes slowly on our side of the world. The summer ends. And even though we will soon swap the heat and sunshine for cold and rain, we find comfort in this month. As if we can reset, get to work, move mountains, change the world. 

Right?

Before you a set that we have been looking forward to the first part of this year. We have asked our good friend Concret to close the main stage of The Monastery on the Sunday. A big honour that we granted this remarkable musician for his impeccable sound. 

On the day itself it all seemed promising. 
He was ready.
We were ready.
But as the misfortune struck, we had to reduce the sound. 

The recording finally gives the artist the sound he deserves. Get in a studio, put on your best headphones, because this set is absolutely and without a shadow of a doubt one of the best sets recorded at The Monastery.

We are proud to present the DJ set of our great friend AIWAA. This authentic soul never hesitate to surprise us with his music. He's been doing it for a while, actually, since the first time he met with our family during  our New Years Eve party in 2017 and, of course, in The Odd Ones Out stage in The Monastery. 

He blew us all with his amazing music and it makes us happy to be able to share this masterpiece and these moments with the world.

Both pioneers in our sound and industry joined us for our first festival and it turned out to be one of the few sets we stayed and listened from beginning to end.

Ohlala...

This weekend is about to start in the best way possible. Before you one of the grand sets performed at The Monastery: Blond:ish at The Dark Side of the Moon. 

We remember this night. As soon as this set finished at The Monastery we crossed our fingers and really really envisioned this one would be released. It was minutes before a wind storm kicked in and we thought our good thoughts had blown away.. But no. Here we are, together at the beginning on of the good ones. 

It's a keeper, this one. Like the two girls that form Blond:ish.

They never stop inspiring us. The tracks they produce repeat themselves thousands of times because we can't get enough, ever. The sets, the hard work, the goals they set for themselves.

We can't and wouldn't want to do this without them

Behrouz has been our family from the moment we met him. He is our mentor ever since we started working on this dream called The Gardens of Babylon. The Monastery 2018 - Behrouz at The Dark Side Of The Moon

Angels,

Today we are excited to share with you the live recording of the multi-dimensional music project End of Time at The Monastery Festival. 

End of Time is the trio of Trippin Jaguar, DJ and electronic music producer, Stacey Griffin, sound healer at Shift Meditation and Anthoni Logos, music producer and musician. With the use of ambisonics technology and an array of speakers, they create sonic escapes that form a three-dimensional field. The space becomes part of the composition and entices the listeners to experience a more complex sonic landscape formed by energetic and meditative sounds.

It was amazing what we experienced during The Monastery. So amazing that we book them for the next Thursday 22 of November to perform for us in an intimate setting at The Cosmic Jungle in Amsterdam.  We can't wait!

Enjoy this journey with an open heart and we promise you will find yourself in a new state of mind.

Trying to find words to describe the love we feel for our dear Chaim is simply impossible. This love is from another universe. Another life. Or maybe more. Ever since he chose his own path, we have seen our friend transform into this next level artist. As if he is prepping himself for all is to come. The released and unreleased. Sets and shows. All are out of this world and often make us wonder if we should give all to dance at that moment or simply stop and listen to what he is up to.
