The Yamaha CX5M (* 1984) was an 8-bit MSX compatible home computer featuring a 4-operator FM sound module. Patches could be edited using the "YRM 102 Voicing Program." Its 8 voices could be arranged using the "YRM 101 Composer Program." Each note had to be entered step by step, there being no realtime mode.

Some old tracks I did with my first synthesizer, a Yamaha CX5M Music Computer, which included an 8-Voice FM sound module. All Tracks ca. 1987, no overdubs; each of the songs consists of only 8 FM voices for all sounds including percussion.
