Happy , fun song.I originally wrote this song in November 2021,I was planning to do some sought of kids version. About the start of April 2024, I rediscovered it and decided to collaborate with the music with Maurice Victor of motown music school it came together really fast. I felt at this time, the song had great potential, so we recorded it in May of 2024.

It is so good to hear some material from Nigel Wearne.

He used to come down this way quite often.

I have some of his CDs and you’ll hear them on Tempo.

His music and his playing are stellar.

The light guitar introduction sets the scene for ballad.

The guitar swells and recedes, as the song demands, fluid, making its own way through the song.

The crispness and clarity of the vocal is another trademark of Nigel’s.

His use of words is wonderful, phrases such as “I search the illicit hours.”

The language works in so well with the music.

This is excellent material, and a stunning performance. 

I hope this acoustic version appears on an album. It deserves to.

Madfrek - Runaway (Extended Mix)

I started learning the guitar four and a half years ago and discovered that I could compose music and lyrics, which lead to the release of my debut album- -Pieces of Me--  in 2022.
I was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia some 26 years ago, and thought my life wouldn't amount to much the music gives me a reason to get up each day. I hope my music can be enjoyed and inspiring to people from all walks in life. I can now call myself a composer, songwriter, and producer.
