This talk has wonderful direction for our prayer life and great encouragement to quicken your growth in Christ.
Old garments are not readily given up - fires in California - 
The Father is watching us all and encourages us to change our ways;  strips away our comforts so that the strengths of Christ are what remain.
That which consumes us will be consumed
When the Father answers a prayer, He obliterates the problem and heals the scars.
We only know what we can see.  The Father sees from the bottom up.  We do not know what is best for us.  That is vanity.
Suffering causes a person to see.
Luxury = blindness
