A minute of non-silence for the rain... this is an outtake from the Extra Ordinary Astronauts album "The Machines  are Winning". The vibes tracks never got used. The song is by Jon Merker and it's called "Silence". He's playing my vibraphone... or actually, it's not really mine. It belongs to Alex who lives in London now. These keys were made for Cal Tjader by Degan - and he died with the formula for the alloy. That's some rarified shit.

I had a friend over and he wrote a song. He played piano, sang most of the vocals, smoked a cigarette, and did a couple of guitar tracks. I played bass, drums, guitars, vibes, and sang some aahs.
