Pitt Music and Chemistry Major Walt Yang is soloist with Pitt’s Symphony Orchestra on Beethoven’s Piano Concerto no. 3 in c minor, op. 37.  This performance took place on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at Bellefield Hall Auditorium under the direction of Roger Zahab. The recording is of Movement I, Allegro con brio. Heinz Chapel Choir, under the direction of Dr. Susan Rice, performed Daniel Jackson’s Trouble the Waters on February 16, 2020 at the annual Heinz Chapel Chamber Choir Festival. Pitt Women's Choral Ensemble Performs "They May Tell You"

Mathew Tembo led the Afropop Ensemble in a performance of his original song, “Hummingbird” during the group’s fall concert. The song tells the story of an African man separated from his family by immigration. When he can’t afford to fly back to Africa to see his family, he asks a hummingbird to take him home.
