The alt-pop brother duo Cardiac Half have found their stride yet again with their latest single “Looking Glass”. With a conglomerate of different influences like Maroon 5, Imagine Dragons, and Twenty One Pilots, Cardiac Half continues to successfully navigate uncharted territory with their music. Covering a sonically wide range of dynamics, “Looking Glass” features the highest of heavy hitting synth choruses to the depths of ambient, moody interludes. The vocals are some of lead singer Drew Miller’s best to date, even laying down an impressively worded rap in the bridge. While the lyrics center around mature themes of awakening and change, they express it through the use of familiar fairy tales and symbolism, a tact employed by Cardiac Half throughout their music.

"Medicine" represents the darkest and most haunting installment of the "alt-pop" sound we've been developing over the past year. We wrote this song about the critical choices you face during everyday life and the sometimes dramatic repercussions and outcomes these choices can have. This song fits in with our sonic arsenal, but is surely our most mature offering to date.

Brother-fronted, pop duo Cardiac Half is anything but half-hearted. Initially a pop-punk band, brothers Drew and Dylan Miller formed the group in 2016. After a successful 5-song EP release in 2017, Cardiac Half began evolving into the pop duo it is today. In the early months of 2018, the brothers began working with producer and engineer Ryan Wilson of HeyHey Studios and released three singles that year. The first single of 2019 “Big Bad Wolf” has over 32K streams on Spotify. “Secret Letters”, their most recent single, features “moody, ambient synths” and “spoken-word verses” and has been compared to that of Joseph Tyler of Twenty One Pilots. Cardiac Half’s next single “City Lights” releases on September 27th of 2019.

	The Miller brothers want to do more with Cardiac Half than share music; they want to share their story. The name Cardiac Half holds significant meaning as Dylan lives with a heart condition, and Drew is deaf in his left ear. Together, they unite to craft emotional and memorable melodies that listeners won't forget soon.
