Dans cet épisode spécial de mon émission sur Rinse France, j’ai l’immense plaisir d’accueillir MAKS, un artiste prometteur qui représente fièrement la scène musicale émergente de l’île Maurice. Ce moment est particulièrement symbolique, car MAKS et DWAYNE m’avaient invité à partager un événement en décembre dernier. Aujourd’hui, nous bouclons la boucle en lui offrant cette plateforme pour explorer son univers musical et partager son énergie unique avec vous.

Originaire de l’île Maurice, MAKS s’est imposé comme l’un des moteurs d’une nouvelle génération d’artistes, en mêlant passion pour la musique, créativité visuelle et savoir-faire technique. Cofondateur du label TEMPOLD et du collectif CHROME, il a contribué à dynamiser la scène locale à travers des événements novateurs et des initiatives inspirées par des références comme Boiler Room ou Rinse FM. Avec DWAYNE, son acolyte de toujours, ils ont imaginé TEMPOLD comme un espace de liberté musicale, où artistes locaux et internationaux peuvent s’exprimer pleinement.

Pour cette émission, MAKS nous embarque dans son style éclectique, un mélange de house, UK garage, jungle, breakbeat, phonk et bien d’autres influences. Son objectif est clair : transmettre l’énergie et la diversité de sa scène locale tout en y ajoutant sa touche personnelle et des sons innovants.

Un grand big up à DWAYNE, qui reste une figure centrale de cette aventure, même s’il n’est pas là en personne. Ce set, c’est aussi pour lui et pour tout ce que TEMPOLD représente. Préparez-vous à une heure de musique pure et vibrante, portée par un artiste qui ne cesse de repousser les limites et de faire rayonner l’île Maurice sur la carte internationale !
