The arena-conquering duo glide from gritty rave to skyscraping arpeggios on RA.1000, a mix many years in the making.

A new name undeniably entered the pantheon of major electronic live acts over the past decade: next to Faithless, The Prodigy and The Chemical Brothers, now sit @feelmybicep.

The Belfast duo's music doesn't half reach for the stars: a melodic blend of ambient, breakbeat, trance and tech house, able to turn the biggest arenas into intimate affairs.

If anything, mainstream success, BRIT Award nominations and mammoth dance crossovers like "Glue" have only hardened Andy Ferguson and Matt McBriar's resolve to keep innovating.

Their prized blog, running for nearly as long as the RA Podcast, regularly platforms upcoming artists. And you won't find many festival headliners releasing climate change-themed records with Indigenous artists, as they did recently on Takkuuk.

RA.1000 exists in that spirit. After many polite declines, and before a year off to usher in the next era, Bicep come through at the last: from dub techno and screwface breaks to São Paulo garage, before a tide of signature synths floods the zone. Stadium-sized intimacy at its finest.

Blessings (Jack Sheehy Remix)

Revered London-based label Well Street Records has tapped Gadigal Land/Sydney-based producer LEVOS for their latest release, his EP, 'Burnout'. The label has become a staple for listeners and DJs alike, verging into the often more broken side of beat.

LEVOS' EP is no different, with the local delivering on the wonkiness one can tend to find on Well Street. 

'Focus', premiered here, is a crisp, slightly rude & very uplifting UKG romp. The wonk is all here, and a huge testament to the drive and skill of a blossoming local producer.

Of the release, LEVOS shared:

"Growing up in the bush in Australia, I'm always approaching music from the perspective of an outsider. I think a lot of Australian music has this real blissed out feeling to it, which I guess comes from being connected to our unique landscape and natural beauty. I naturally find myself falling into this zone too and making music (especially dance music) in Australia means that we need to embrace what we have here, rather than trying to find all our sounds from elsewhere."

'Burnout' releases via Well Street Records' Bandcamp on Friday, August 22.

A new Irish artist / producer, Caolan Ryan made an immediate impact in 2024 with DJ slots at Ministry Of Sound and Other Voices, supporting Jonas Blue and going B2B with Fred again...when he invited the Grammy winning artist to a surprise launch for the Ten Days album in his home town of Dingle, Co Kerry.


 
Drawing on a variety of electronic dance music from tech house to garage, Ryan has released his own music alongside these high-profile appearances - inspired by artists such as BICEP , Overmono , Lawrence Hart, Tourist and George FitzGerald
 
His music to date has drawn DJ support from the likes of Fred again.., HAAi , Jacques Greene, Lawrence Hart and Graham Smyth.
Having kicked off 2025 at Dingle’s SIAR festival alongside New Jackson, Phil Edwards Band and P Disconaught, he returned to the studio to start work on his debut EP. 
 
The results draw on his experiences of living both in London and on the west coast of Ireland, of songwriting and club sessions and from the ever-shifting world of electronic music. 

It will be released this summer via UK label Origins Inconclusive.
