None of us are born with everything figured out. “Ain’t Always Been This Way” is a reflection—a confession that the path here wasn’t straight, and there were a few wrong turns along the way. It’s about the man I used to be, the lessons that took too long to learn, and the hard-earned growth that comes with age. This song is for anyone who’s looked in the mirror and thought, ‘I’m glad I’m not who I used to be.’ It’s a reminder that change is possible, and growth comes slow—but it comes.
