The popular Netflix series 13 Reasons Why hits on many deep and emotional levels.  The first two seasons are full of powerful story telling, and hit a home-run illustrating how difficult truth is to discern because we live in a sea of gray while voices around us push and want black and white. The major thing lacking unfortunately, was a void of the true source of hope and salvation.  The final two seasons, while still riveting, delve further into pushing agendas and steering away from God, while displaying truth in plain site via a high school setting.  With clips from the show and elsewhere, we examine the parallels and how they condition us to accept certain truths about our reality. CNN anchor Chris Cuomo says "we don't need God, we need to be better." Interviews with Mark Walters and Stephen Willeford on gun control and the left's agenda to disarm America.

Why there is no "being better" or saving friends without Jesus

Mel and Jeremy discuss anger management and self-control, a fruit of the Spirit, and how the perfect love of God should equip us to treat others with grace, knowing that we will fall short.  1 Corinthians 13 tells us what LOVE IS, and first and foremost, it is PATIENT.  When we lose patience, we lose the ability to speak the truth about who God is, because our pride begins to win an argument of words used by the mind, not the language of the heart.
