Mid Pacific gazer below the twinkling lights of the palisades.
Watching the world on six hour delay (east coast in the house) has it’s benefits believe me rode out the Orange years with no direct exposure however now the mainland seems like another country or another multiverse version of the place I left. No direction home etc. which is fine as you age and have had many lives and many homes you can be sure you will have more. Just enjoy the little things when you find them. The crunch of snow as you walk up to your warm home, the birds greeting each day when it peeks over the mountain as if it’s the best day yet. Driving into town with the gentle slope of the volcano crossing the windshield down to the pacific two miles deep. Getting called Uncle at the grocery store.
