03 Occult

In 2016 Saudaá Group established residencies around the world for the Street Organ Ritornellos project. He worked with over 30 musicians in a dozen different countries, from the High Atlas to the countries of the Caucasus. The empirical objective was to confront the three-century-old instrument and communicate its legacy to a wider audience. Each step in the journey provided various testimonies between world music and sound creation that were reported by France Musique and Blogothèque. 

As part of the international residencies and at the request of Vincent Théval, producer for Radio France, over 10 radio works were broadcast. The creation of each sound postcard followed a process of research, encounters, outdoor recordings, editing for radio-broadcasting.

Dans cet épisode réalisé en Arménie, le Târ de Miqayel Voskanyan et le brouillard électroacoustique de Vardan Harutyunyan accompagnent l'orgue du  Saudaá Group. Par la magie du collage sonore, un dialogue s'ouvre avec les enfants du quartier populaire de Bangladesh. Viennent ensuite la peur des chiens, de fines gouttes de pluie, les vagues du lac Sevan, la neige et les pulpulaks, fontaines éternelles de Yerevan.

01 - El vacio no es la nada

Been blogging, music sharing, etc. for a while now (see blog under this name) & DJing since 1982. I like all kinds of music.

Most of my playlists are not organized & just hold songs I'm interested in, many of which I haven't listened to yet. The "freeform current listening" playlist is as it says & will be updated regularly. Many of my reposts were unintentional, they were just random tracks I was trying to add to a playlist using my phone & I've got clumsy fingers.
