Pixelord's insane new album "99%" is a mixture of exciting new music that is difficult to frame by genre, which meets nostalgia for classic idm, breakbeat and trance music. The album brings the tension of the artist's earlier releases to a glorious conclusion and almost to perfection — literally 1% missing.

Remember how you downloaded something from the old Internet from the distant past, but it tended to freeze at the last moment at the last one percent? It's the same with this album. It plunges into nostalgic sounds of electronic music of the past, makes sense in the present and takes this legacy with it into the world of the future, pushes its way through mistakes and bugs.

Over the past ten years, Pixelord has developed its own unique musical style, which is closely related to the sound of the Hyperboloid records, and which is inspired by artists such as Bicep, EPROM, Mu-ziq, Lorn and others. "99%" is a complex love note for finding new sound, formed in Pixelord's interdisciplinary practice.

This is the latest album of the artist under his current name — stay tuned for more experiments, echoes of NFTs, and whatever else human thought can come up with.

For this EP Arelice recorded the sounds live from the modular vst, and tried to make everything as live as possible, the way it would have been done in the old days, 
Arelice was inspired by the electronic music from the 80s and 90s through the prism of parties of those times "that never existed", some sort of the vague memories of listening to a track and being like "oh, I remember that tune, it was in..." and it was nowhere to be found. Specifically, Arelice made vocals with chops, like somebody singing, but nobody actually sings. The whole release is the re-imagining of tracks that don't actuaally exist.

Premiering "Special Fried Rice (Original Mix) by ETRA taken from "Dirt Bag" EP out on April 8th via Optikal Dubs.

Releasing his 'Bubblegum' EP on co-founder of Foreign Beggars PAV4N’s label ‘4NCY’ in early 2021, ETRA has seen his releases premiere on DJ Mag and UKBM. Formerly known as Fizika and working with ‘Noxious Records’ ETRA switched from learning to produce Drum & Bass to focus on making music blending all the sounds he is influenced by. ETRA released his first experimental footwork-influenced tracks on Alexander Saylor’s label ‘Nü Kvlture’ in 2021. Following up with a Lofi / Jungle inspired two track EP ‘Digital Dust’ which was heard opening the debut ‘Keep Hush’ event in Sydney, Australia. When not blending the sounds of Jungle, Breakbeat, Footwork, UKG, Drum & Bass and Dubstep, ETRA continues to work on other creative projects and has created artwork for ’Noxious Records’ and ’Diffrent Music’ You can hear ETRA’s guest mixes on: 4NCY Radio / Sounds of the KVLT / GRIT / In The Void. Now he presents his latest EP release 'Dirt Bag EP', an exploration of different groovy vibes within the Breaks / Jungle realm.

Optikal Dubs is an independent Bass Music label based in Colombia, their goal is to unite artists from different parts of the globe to spread their music through promoters, DJs and consumers in the Latin American region.
