After an assault of releases over the past year on the label, DaveJ is now consistently showcasing his sound & story with us - and what a deadly sound this is - the deepest funk-laden grooves expertly blended with the naughtiest hypnotic & rolling house & minimal b-lines.

The Essex based artist is a seasoned selector, with past shows at spaces including Egg Club & 93 Feet East and countless more in his native Essex county. Dave is also a member of the Chelmsford-based USpeople brand, bringing big-name acts to the city, throwing memorable events each time. 

Dave’s 4TH release on @HOT-GROOVERS  demonstrates a clear continued theme of tight percussion mapping, wonderfully lively rolling deep grooves and super smooth vocal work.

Dave has also been co-producing a number of potent cuts with @PuzzleProjectsMusic and @HOT-GROOVERS  label boss @BenSpaldingOfficial scheduled for release on both labels through late 2022. ________________________________________________________________

NATURE label boss wAFF returns to his flourishing imprint as 2025 comes to a close, with an experimentally fun creation of sounds, the 'Filler' 3 track EP, dropping on 28th of November. 

Weapon of an A Side, ‘Fruit Bandage’ turns the party up with its signature wAFF sounds, The interweaving low and high bass tones, chopping vocals balanced with the powerful diva shouts light up the dancefloor at any hour! Tried and tested on the Amnesia Ibiza dancefloor by the likes of Jamie Jones, Joseph Capriati and wAFF himself, set to go off!

Title track ‘Filler’ kicks off the EP with wAFFs low driving bassline that bounces throughout this hypnotic groove. As the drums continue to progress, wAFF infuses glitchy tones that weave in and out the accompanied vibey vocal that brings this release to life!

Cartographer delves into deeper territory, introducing a more tribal soundscape. The thick, resonant drums create a solid foundation, while the track’s intense breakdowns offer spacious moments that invite listeners to lose themselves in the rhythm.

Also a seasoned selector for over a decade, DaveJ has performed at shows across the UK at venues including @EggLondon, @93FeetEast, and Warehouse.

The native Essex artist is also a member of the progressive Chelmsford event brand USpeople - who hold naughty parties, bringing leading acts to perform on the nights.

Full steam ahead into 2022, alongside many shows lined up, Dave has a debut vinyl release on @PuzzleProjectsMusic and among other releases across various labels, he is co-producing an exciting EP with the PuzzleProjectsMusic and @HOT-GROOVERS label boss @BenSpaldingOfficial to be released on PuzzleProjectsMusic in early 2022.
