What is Maplerock Studio?

Maplerock Studio is a recording studio created in 2016 by Hawk Nelson founder/creator Jason Dunn. It is located in Peterborough, Ontario. 

What is your hourly rate?

Here at Maplerock Studio we provide professional  audio production and engineering. We don’t believe in confining artists to a time limit. That is why Maplerock doesn’t charge an hourly fee. 

My friend told me something about recording a song for $100. Is this real?

For a limited time only, Maplerock Studio offers all acoustic/vocal demos for only $99.99. We want your business. We know you’re going to share your work with the world, so we’re not going to give you a $99.99 sound, we’re just giving you a killer deal.

What’s the grandfather system?

For those who sign up and get this limited time deal, you will be grandfathered into our special offers category. Meaning if you decide in 3 years time that you want to record a killer album and the prices at Maplerock have skyrocketed, you will still get this exceptional deal you signed up for at the beginning of our journey.  

I live in a different city, is there a way to still work together?

Of course we can. We’re all about giving artists a chance to prove themselves. Thanks to the power of the internet, we can shoot ideas back and forth and track guitars and vocals via the internet until we come up with something we’re completely satisfied with. It might take a little more time and energy but nothing’s impossible.

Do you guys mix and master the final product?

No we do not. We do, however know a bunch of great mixers and masterers in our area who we can definitely suggest to you.

Do you do just acoustic stuff?

No. If you plan to do full band songs, we will use a couple other great rooms in the city and get the best sounds and tones as possible.
