This time, we wanted to do something a little bit funky, but we are not quite sure if one can call this really "funk", so we called it Japanese, ファンクかな – is this funk?

Tout petits humains sur une toute petite planète dans un univers infini. 
Nous sommes la mer et la mer est nous.

Tout se joue dans la mer.

Dans cette diversité, dans ce bouillon de culture est apparue la vie, grâce à un peu d’eau et d’oxygène.

Je vous invite à fermer les yeux et tendre l’oreille : à l’écoute des ces tout petits êtres qui peuplent les océans et opèrent La symphonie du vivant on peut comprendre les enjeux qui doivent nous préoccuper : La fragilité des écosystèmes marins nous révèle surtout notre propre fragilité. Et elle est entre nos propres mains.

Small Beings est une oeuvre créée dans le cadre d’une coproduction du GMEM, GMEA et de la Compagnie KARWAN, dans le cadre du projet La Convocation des Sirènes diffusée dans une balise de mer installée de manière pérenne sur le port de pêche de Port-Vendres. Les sons ont été gracieusement donnés par la bioacousticienne Lucia DI IORIO de l’Institut Chorus.
