Hello everyone and welcome to the cover of the month. Today being my birthday, I decided to post our cover of one of my favorite Beatles songs ever, "In My Life". It was written by John Lennon but Paul McCartney helped with the melody and the intro I believe. George Martin played the piano solo, he recorded himself at half-speed and then when played back at normal speed his piano sounded a bit like a Harpsichord. The song was a highlight of The Beatles awesome, and one of favorite albums, "Rubber Soul".  
     We recorded it in 2018 and Charlie did a great job singing it. My wonderful wife Anita played the Piano and that superb Harpsichord solo and helped me with the backing vocals and harmony too. It was a great session and I think we did the song justice but no one can perform it better than The Beatles.

     I worked hard on the video and it's brand new. I put it together earlier this year, specifically to drop on my birthday this year! I didn't bother adding the lyrics to the video because everybody should know the words to this great song by now! It's a masterpiece written by a 25 year old young man in 1965.  
     I hope everybody has a great Thanksgiving day tomorrow and for all others that don't live in the U.S. have a great Thursday and rest of the week and weekend! This is my last song & video for the month but I have a bunch of good ones on the horizon for December, the most wonderful time of the year is coming up! YAAY!!!!! This is my latest track CHASING SHADOWS. It's based on the inner struggles we have with IDENTITY. In a world full of labels and judgement, we lose ourselves trying to identify with who we are expected to be and who we actually are. This struggle creates a dysmorphic view that can distort our hearts and minds. As a result, we see a reflection ourselves in a shattered mirror that's disconnected. This leads to a broken version of our hearts that although mended, masks who we truly are.

   I have been writing songs since I was about 10 years old, maybe even a bit longer as I can recall being younger than that and strumming a toy guitar and singing some sort of melody. I can play the keys a little bit and that’s where I write my songs at the keyboard, because I don’t have a band behind me, at the moment songs are recorded using keyboard presets as backing music with me singing over into my iPad. 
  I’m in the process of changing my setup and will soon start using a laptop and a keyboard to make hopefully a more unique sound, at least I hope more professional.
  I hope that you enjoy my music, that’s why I make it, because I enjoy it and I want other people to as well.
