Today's show was GREAT! We opened with our show credits and a moment of silence for the late (but great) Al Jarreau who passed Sunday February 12, 2017. Rest in peace. We opened with a discussion on the importance of giving back to the community by way of volunteer services. Todays health tip was on super foods-Green tea and broccoli. The inspiration was on "Everything we need to be happy is easy to obtain" by Richard Schoch. This is a series on defining happiness. What is it? How is it obtained? The historic Milwaukee was on: Captain Frederick Pabst Mansion, 2000 West Wisc Avenue.


Our main topic was on the February 21, 2017 election for State superintendent and municipal court judge. MAKE SURE YOU VOTE, but MORE IMPORTANTLY KNOW WHY YOU'RE VOTING!

Today's show was great! Today we opened the show by talking about our 191 show. This is our history. This was followed by our inspiration entitled: "It's not so much what you've got as what you do with it" By Sydney J. Harris.

Next we discussed our SUPER FOOD segment. Today's super foods were pistachios and eggs, two foods packed with the nutrients our body needs.

This was followed with our Milwaukee History, where we talked about St. Ben's Community Church and Community Meal Program. They are located on 10 and Stated, volunteers and support is greatly appreciated.

We then went into our main topic on finances. It is important to understand personal responsibility for the money we earn and spend. It doesn't take much to abuse our financial situations. We must learn to use our money wisely for if we don;t the money will control us to harm our quality of life. We gave some suggestions and we will have this topic continued in future weeks.

We then ended the with these words:

Today's show was great! We started with our announcements, which was on free smoke detector from the city, Tax preparation, what to give to food pantries and the spring election (Tuesday, April 4, 2017).

Next we discussed the session we had with a group of men, where we discussed the "Life Clock" [Your Time And Life On Earth]. This concept was about how our life is a clock from birth to our death and what we are in between: developing years, growth years, complacent years and our wisdom years.

This lead us to our health tip on almonds and ginger, two wonderful SUPER FOODS!

This was followed by Milwaukee History, which was on Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist located downtown Milwaukee.

Next was the inspiration, which was read by Richard. The title was: St. Patrick's Day by Elizabeth Sherrill.

We then went into s special show where we engaged in a question and answer session. Often times when you listen to someone on the radio you wonder who they are. What kind of life and philosophy do they  have. We tried to do that today by telling the listeners somewhat who Richard and Roosevelt are as the host of the Community affairs show. Over time, we will continue to illustrate who we are as host of the show and outside of the show.

This was then followed by our announcements on summer gardening work (414-438-9404) and free health clinic and getting your self (kids especially) check for lead in the blood. Our health tip was on keeping you pets healthy and strong. This followed the inspiration titled: Ask the animals and they will teach you by  Sabra Ciancanelli. The second story was the Postal dog's impression was lasting by Jackie Loohauis-Bennett. This lead us to a talk about strawberries for our gardening tip. Richard will be growing two types of strawberries: everberries, and Juneberries. Our main topic was then discussed. Incarceration and rehabilitation was our focus.
