James Poole drops ‘Make The Dream Work’ on Jamie Jones’ Hottrax this December.

Following releases on Materialism, South Of Saturn, and his previous ‘Tuff Luck’ EP on Hottrax, UK-based DJ/producer James Poole returns to Jamie Jones’ imprint with another set of three skippy, UKG-influenced house tracks for the 99th release on Hottrax. 

Leading the release is the title track ‘Make The Dream Work’, which combines a catchy organ lead and soulful vocal samples for a bouncy opening track. ‘Ruff Love’ follows, upping the tempo with pumping drums and heavy basslines before ‘Too Cool To Dance' rounds up the release with stuttery synths and vocal hooks.

Funk Cartel bring their rave-ready sounds to Hottrax with the three-track ‘Discotexx EP’. 

Brothers Blame Rory and Kimono Cam have quickly risen through the ranks with releases on the likes of Etiquette and Deeperfect, as well as running their own THUNDR imprint. The taste-making duo now step up for Jamie Jones's always-on-point Hottrax with three robust and richly detailed cuts. 

'Discotexx' kicks off with freaky vocals, sci-fi sonic details and plenty of effects that make the track irresistible. The superb 'Higher' is another slice of dance floor dynamite, with a fluid bassline combined with addictive grooves for a spaced-out, futuristic track. Last but not least is 'Feel It,' another full flavour cut with punchy drum programming, trippy vocal fragments, and whirring sounds taking it into cosmic realms.

Spain-based pair Perky Wires have been on a swift rise in recent years. Their productions have taken them to the Top 10 of the Beatport charts and seen them release regularly on their own TBX as well as further afield on the likes of Deeperfect, Glasgow Underground, and of course, Jamie Jones’ Hottrax. 

The title track kicks off with rattling percussion, mystic leads, and whispered vocals, underpinned by a killer bassline that never quits. 'Tribute of Groove' is a more cosmic exploration with wispy pads and liquid chords melting around the drums. Round is 'Jade', an impossibly silky and spaced-out gem with bumping drums and psychedelic FX.

Goosey makes his Hottrax debut with his two-track ‘Restless’ EP. 

Goosey draws heavily from the Ibiza institution that is DC10. His unique take on underground house has quickly found favour, with high-profile artists such as Marco Carola, Michael Bibi and Joseph Capriati supporting his work. He is one of the breakout names of 2023, taking his forward-thinking sounds to labels like CUFF and BINARY, with this new release another big step in his career. 

For the a-side 'Restless', Goosey looks to the deep house sound of 2012 - big bouncy basslines, repetitive hypnotic vocals and lots of tension on the breaks. He adds extra club focus with his take on the style so the drums hit hard and the warped bass never lets up. Adding in an alluring female vocal with plenty of attitude, you have a surefire winner. 

The superb b-side tune 'Time' all started with the vocal line and has already been played by Jamie Jones in Ibiza to a great reception. "I heard the vocal and immediately knew there was something special about it," Goosey says of the writing process, adding it is a tune very much made with Jones's Paradise parties in mind. "He often plays some quite deep stuff towards the end of the night, and for me personally, it's always those tracks that I really come away remembering." 'Time' is a dark and sensual cut with melancholic chords and vast bass enveloping the crisp tech drums. The vocal is erotic and brings sensuality to the physical drums in a way that is sure to blow up the club. 

This is a standout two-tracker from man of the moment Goosey.

Scotland-born breakout artist Jamie G drops a fresh three-track EP on Jamie Jones's Hottrax label. 

Jamie G has swiftly captured the attention of industry heavyweights such as Marco Carola, Latmun and The Martinez Brothers, all of whom have been dropping his irresistible house sounds. His productions are powered by deep basslines with fresh drum programming and hooky vocal samples that bring plenty of attitude to the floor. For proof, look no further than this brilliant new three-tracker, 'What You Want'. 

'MMT' kicks off proceedings with a dark and moody atmosphere, stripped back to thudding kicks and sci-fi synths. It has a fresh, futuristic feel and characterful rapped vocals that will energise any party. Next up, 'Razor' has an old-school throwback feel with its garage-inflected bass sounds and more street-wise vocal swagger. It's a full-throttle and pumping deep tech cut for late-night, heads-down dancing in sweaty backrooms. Rounding out a stylish EP is 'What You Want' with its alluring female vocals that bring the soul over broad bass strokes and crispy, electro-tinged drums that keep you bouncing.

Samuele Scelfo returns on Hottrax with a new single alongside a collaboration with fellow Italian E.T.H. 

Samuele Scelfo is a part of the new school's underground, thanks to standout releases on imprints like Hot Creations, Snatch! and Repopulate Mars. His 'Playin' Around' cut from earlier this year climbed to 8th in the overall Beatport chart and has picked up over 500,000 streams on Spotify. The Florence-born talent is in fine form yet again on this latest outing on Jamie Jones's tastemaking Hottrax. 

Up first is 'Repeat', a slinky tech house mood with hooky vocal raps, a dirty bassline, and warping synth details that undoubtedly make for a hands-in-the-air affair. Then comes Scelfo's rave-inspired collaboration with E.T.H (Italy) feat. Joshee, 'Take Your Body' fuses old-school jungle breaks with thumping, low-slung house beats as cosmic synths swirl overhead, injecting a spacey touch into the mix.

Bastian Bux strides into 2024 with an impressive three-tracker on Jamie Jones’ Hottrax. 

Bastian Bux was hugely busy in 2023 with standout cuts on his own Neverendz label, having already impressed on Eats Everything's Edible, elrow Music and Cuartero's Sanity. He hails from Barcelona and has shown himself to be endlessly creative in the studio - each new tune shows an evolution in his sound, whether vocal, deep, tech or beyond. Now, almost a decade into his career, he has played everywhere from Tomorrowland to Encore Beach Club in Las Vegas, and he now opens the year with a superb three-track EP on Hottrax. 

The punchy 'Dunns' kicks off with tight, clipped tech house drums and chopped-up vocal stabs that eventually turn into streetwise bars drenched in attitude. 'Dat Beat' is just as fresh and sure to get crowds in a swat with its hardcore house grooves and twisted synths spraying about the mix. Throw in more well-treated vocal fragments and a fat bassline, and you have real club dynamite. Completing this essential hat trick is 'Howyalldoin', a more playful cut with a sun-kissed vibe thanks to its soulful male vocals and funky bass riffs.

Samuele Scelfo, Davide T & Side B link up across two red-hot new tracks on Hottrax. 

Florence talent Samuele Scelfo returns for his third outing on Jamie Jones’ lauded Hottrax imprint, following a huge 2023 that saw him land on labels from Sola to Repopulate Mars, with his standout track ‘Playin Around’ on the latter picking up over 500,000 streams on Spotify. 

Scelfo joins forces with Side B, who is known for his edgy cuts on the likes of Mood Child and Of Unsound Mind, for the speaker-rattling 'Vibrate' - a ravey cut with a filthy bassline that drills down below crisp tech drums and Detroit-style synth stabs that will get hands in the air. 

On the digital flip, Scelfo links with Davide T, a budding producer from Milan with credits on Moxy Muzik, Snatch! and CUFF. Together they impress with 'Lollipop Kiss', a wonky club track with woodpecker-style synth loops that are heavily filtered next to wobbly low-end and low-slung drums.

British producer Mark Jenkyns joins Hottrax with two separate collaborations alongside vocalist MIZBEE and Ecuador’s Andre Salmon titled ‘Sirens’. 

Having released on Hot Creations, Suara, Of Unsound Mind, Rebellion, Lost Records and Resonance Records, Mark Jenkyns has unquestionably established himself as one of the most sought after producers in modern day house music. As a DJ Jenkyns is a regular name on the line-ups of Paradise Ibiza, when not making appearances at the likes of The Warehouse Project, Lightbox, Digital, Egg and BPM Festival.
