Tired of cold short days? Me too. Let's party!!  I haven't posted anything new in a while so here's a 10 year old tune that will be new to some of my peers, and those who've heard it have already gotten over the shock. This is an exercise in licentious sexual innuendo and lewd, funky sounds. It's what happens when an otherwise innocent childhood is spent listening to Jimmy Castor Bunch, New Birth, Slave, James Brown, Funkadelic, etc, and there are some biblical metaphors thrown in for good measure. It can be downloaded in case I decide to run for Governor and need to quickly hide all scandal.

Tastes Like Chicken

This is about how life is constantly presenting challenges. We must learn from each incident/experience and use that learning to try and be more resilient and be able to move forward. 
I wrote it on my 3/4 size Hofner classical guitar. It’s first song! I used open G tuning after being encouraged to try it by Mark Spruce (Original Spruce - great songs- give them a listen!). Thanks Mark!

It’s been a long time

This is a song that I wrote and shared with Josh last spring. We worked on it for several months. Originally, it was just acoustic guitar and some vocals. To that, Josh added some mandolin, thinking it would stay that way. However, I ruminated on the initial raw version, surprising Josh by adding the rhythm section and better recordings of my parts after the fact. Josh came up with the high harmony towards the end, which blew me away and was the catalyst for a vision to flesh this idea out as best we could. We always have a lot of fun playing together as our tastes and references are very much aligned. We have been making music together almost since we both joined SoundCloud and found each other there about two years ago. We hope you enjoy listening to this song as much as we enjoyed making it.
As a side personal note, I only wish we had extended the song, which maybe I can get Josh in on that idea. I do like the short and sweet version that leaves you wanting to hear more, but I digress.
~Josh IS the hub and catalyst of this and any great track we collab on! The force is surely strong with this great virtuoso and aficionado! Those that know, know. ❤️

Ghost Ship

Hello, Everyone! Do you like surf rock? Do you like the soundtrack from „Pulp Fiction” and „Kill Bill”? I try to combine surf rock with other styles of music: with indie, psychedelic, space rock, ambient and folk 🍀

I co-found a duo with my friend from Sweden, Håkan (WELL ) on synthesisers. We have recorded several tracks together, which you can easily find on my profile and on WELL's profile. My friend and I are trying to combine ambient music or space rock with a surf guitar sound in our project. Our collaboration continues 😎 

I am also a member of the project FIFTY ON EARTH together with my friend from Poland, Marcin Jakubowski. You can listen to our tracks  „On the open road to north”,  „Let’s drift away” and „Space Crash” on SoundCloud 😎

Notable are my collaborative recordings with a group of wonderful musicians from the USA and England who perform under the banner of The Eclectic Collective. We were able to join forces on five tracks (compositions of my own making): Surf Dance/ A Time Race/ The One/ See You Soon (in a better world) / Tell Me The Truth 😎 This music goes beyond classic surf rock and into psychedelic territory with the help of incredibly talented and creative musicians such as Josh Clary (bass), Ken Karasek (drums), J.J. Terrell (keyboards) and fantastic guitar wizards: Tez (Llanpsych) and Stephen (TexMex Shaman) 🌞🏄🏼‍♂️

My latest project is a collaboration with my friend from Kansas City - Nathaniel Ehrnman. Together we created a quiet track called "Good Days”. Nathaniel added his guitar parts (slide and baritone) and harmonica to my track. His unique playing style gave the song a folk character 🍀
