Me when I attempt to build a sandcastle after my other sandcastle got knocked over by a wave:

i was commissioned to write an original song that incorporates the smw theme, in a style that's reminiscent of t-square's "sister marian", for a smw romhack.

(will add the game's title once it goes public.)

Today we were all treated to some awesome, and slightly sad, screenshots of what was likely going to be Evening Star's next journey with Classic Sonic. After seeing this and thinking 'god damn that's pretty' (+ "why couldn't this have been a finished game :c") I opened up FL, put down some chords and steadily canyon-jumped myself to this end result which I'm extremely proud of.

I rarely post originals, as I rarely do ever create them; not enough motivation to do so at the moment, but when I create them I'm reminded of the potential I believe I have, and my dream which is to work alongside the talented people who create these games, and others who create music for them. I hope with one day, enough work and determination, that dream can become a reality of mine.

Also, no less than 5 minutes after posting it, Tee shared the actual music he wrote back when this was a real demo that Evening Star were making, which motivated me to move on to mixing mine so I could share this with you all.
