Adrian Shala and Adrian Schweizer, the Swiss duo recording and performing as Adriatique, sign the third Afterlife release of 2018, ‘Ray’. The two-track single follows their remix of Tale Of Us & Vaal’s ‘Monument’ in 2017, and marks the beginning of Adriatique’s own journey with Afterlife Recordings.

We first heard of ‘Ray’ in Tale Of Us’ sublime fabric 97 CD, where its soaring melody ended the mix on a euphoric high. It stands out as a scintillating dancefloor composition, whose lead synth line will no-doubt create many memorable dancefloor moments. ‘Voices From The Dawn’ takes a more subtle approach to the same thrilling effect. Driven by the rolling beats, it reveals itself sporadically in spirited surges of life.

These two tracks not only show the range of Adriatique’s production focus, but show them to be highly-accomplished whether making hypnotic, peak-time grooves or epic songs for the end of the night.

“Test-File” is the title track of @MarcelDettmann's upcoming 2xEP. The 3-minute opener bangs in with rapid fire kicks and tape-delayed electric zaps, reversing midway into a kind of electronic palindrome – a rhythmic departure for the longtime Berghain resident.

Out September 14, 2018 the 2x12" EP ‘Test-File’ sees him in explorative form, combining compact experimental techno vignettes with writhing, dubby and distorted long- form dancefloor portals – as well as a stoned and unexpected turn into house territory. At 22 minutes over 6 tracks, ‘Test-File’ is a series of sonic contrasts united by Dettmann’s uncanny intuition for patiently shifting, improvisational dance music.

The atmospheric ‘Flying Lizard’ is a stunning masterclass of dreamy, emotive soundsca- pes, with rousing drums beating the terrain while the track soars with an enrapturing melody.

‘Huch’ has listeners craving dance oor heat with goading afro drum rhythms taking the lead before an elevating synth line weaves in some much-welcomed euphoria. Ouïe Circle - the new sublabel of Ouïe, drops its second release via label head and co-founder Acid Pauli. 
Ouïe Circle provides a playground for new talents and an outlet for more experimental music from established artists. 
The Shifting Gier EP (wordplay alert with ‘Gier’ being the German word for greed) is a three tracker, each with its own distinct mood and character. 
The title track is a meditative, subtle groover that seems to grow deeper and more intimate throughout its 8 minutes. 
'Gierporn' has a more synthy, modular vibe, bubbling away over the surface of a mid-tempo kick. It’s warm, wonky and expansive. 
'Wer giert verliert' (roughly translated as ‘the greedy lose’) is the most upfront dancefloor track, with a thick low kick and nervy, skittish percussion and a hypotonic melody.

After releasing on Watergate Records and clocking in more then 3,5 Million plays, Ed Ed has delivered some intense club music to labels like Exploited, NOIR, Defected, Poesie, Bedrock, Moodmusic and many more...

With his remix Ed Ed slightly lowers the pace, but keeps the trippy and driving feel of the track by adding some excellent and spacey synth as well as wealth of new layers and instruments.
