As the only remaining North American chapter of a movement that began in England in 1882, its 300 volunteers knit, sew, and purchase new clothing for 21 social service agencies across the GTA, donating over 22,000 items each year. You’ll hear inspiring stories from longtime members: Sue Garskey, who continues to support the Guild after serving as president; Joyce Hisey, Order of Canada recipient and membership coordinator; Cathy Reith, guiding a new generation of giving; and Brenda Rathbone, leading outreach and social media.
