Happy Fri-yay to you all, plus here’s the eighth instalment of the RC B2B guest mix series, which I am very humbled and honoured to welcome Nick & Matt from Peverell @peverell_music this time around 🙏🎶🎧💃🪩🕺😎😊

Peverell have been involved in the Electronic & House Music industry collectively for the last 20 years following in the footsteps of some of their influences from the early years of House, Soul & Disco music. Their versatility to play various genres of music ranging from soul, disco & soulful tracks to the more uplifting house and jackin' styles is something that distinguishes the duo from others.

2025 is going to be another exciting year for them, with lots of new releases, along with their continued successful residencies at Whinstone View, Luna Blu and MFC Host & Stay Suite, plus they are really looking forwards to playing alongside Michael Gray at Disco Down on Sunday 20th April.

I have been a big fan of Nick and Matt’s work for quite a while now, plus have been including a lot of their releases on my SoundCloud mixes (in this series of B2B mixes), plus my RC Groovers Assemble mixes to over the last few years. So, I was properly made up, when they kindly agreed to do a guest mix for me 😊🙏😎🫡

Lastly, big shout out to ‘my guy’, Charlie Price @charliepricediscomusic, who goes from strength-to-strength on his journey as a dj / producer, with another massive milestone producing his ‘Space Odyssey remix’ of Michael Gray’s @djmichaelgrayofficial ‘Season High’ (hope you enjoy the track in my mix), on a double remix release on Traxsource with Risk Assessment @riskassessmentofficial, released last Friday. Happy Easter everyone !! 🐣 I am very pleased to announce that this is my 50th Soundcloud upload and I’m celebrating in style with a very special guest mix from Tony aka DJ KMOmaverick.

I first spoke to Tony through Soundcloud and got chatting through our love of music. I have also had the pleasure of meeting Tony in person at the Downtown Disco events in Leeds. That is where I asked if he would like to do me a guest mix and I am so pleased he agreed.

Yorkee was on the decks this week, with a special set curated by Mrs Yorkee (aka Karen). She provided a list of her favourite tracks, and Yorkee mixed them into a solid hour of uplifting joy and sunshine, with pianos, vocals and cheeky bassline grooves.

His special guest for the second hour was Da Funk Junkies. Hailing from Portsmouth, they specialize in funky, disco-infused jackin' house. They have been crafting their art for almost 20 years, bringing high-energy funk to dance floors across the globe.​
