It is time to make sexual and reproductive health and rights a reality in people's lives. This was the dominant message at the Geneva launch of the Guttmacher- Lancet commission's report on sexual and reproductive health and rights in Geneva. 

According to the Guttmachar- Lancet report each year there are over 200 millionwomen in need of protection from unwanted pregnancies, due to lack of access to modern methods of contraception, 45 million women who have inadequate or no antenatal care, as well as more than 30 million womwn who do not deliver their babies in healthy facilities.

The need to bring in different angles to the burning case to be made for children who lack the right nutrition while  growing up was a focal point at the Launch of the Nutrition care framework for early childhood development at this years 71st WHA.
