I Am Not You (and you are not me)

Born from an extreme period of darkness, `Hope` is a track taken from my latest sequencer led album `You Are Everywhere`, each track is set at 85BPM and all were written in late 2022 following the death of my beloved daughter, Karolina. I made this album in her memory.

Hope

A deep production mixing an ambient soundscape and electronica, using Kamila Green, a striking AI construct with a voice that I could only wish for, as vocalist.

The Promise

The first part of a series of tracks inspired by the city of Brno. King`s Field (Kralovo Pole in Czech) is the area where I live. From my flat I can see right into the centre of the city and as darkness falls the sound of the trams lull me to sleep. I hope you can hear this in the track.

The King​`​s Field

An ambient album inspired by the Fylde Coast, in the North West of England.
“I miss the sea. Always everything comes back to it. As a child I loved those days of proletarian wonder as we gazed out to the Irish Sea. Now she speaks to me of my past, something that here I cannot capture. The only way is to return to the coast, to walk on the beach, to listen to the waves that in the night one cannot see. Music can, to some degree, let me walk on that shoreline once again. This album represents my Dreams of an English Coastline.”

This set of seven ambient soundscapes was written during the lockdown of 2020. I have tried to capture my feeling of isolation during this period and moments of hope.
