“Remember” is a moody dark track it represents a reflective, heartbroken perspective on a past love and raises the matter of fact that sometimes keeping your guard up is necessary to maintain focus for the greater good. Then, the song evolves after the second chorus to highlight the idea that the tables can turn even after everything is said and done within a relationship.

What makes the song special is that it’s a double entendre the whole way through. With both subtle and not so subtle references to artists who influence me the most. These include Chris Brown, 6LACK, Drake, the Weeknd & MJ
