Now, as you would probably know - the world of "Undertale" does not know how to handle a monster killing another monster, so it wouldn't give any EXP as it's a player-only thing.
Sans is still at his normal stats here, he just has a bit more fighting experience than before, so he'd know a few more tips and tricks on how to kick ass.
(SIDE NOTE: Sans wouldn't inherit other monsters attacks like spears because of this same rule.)
While we're on that topic, this isn't some personal vendetta like most Dust AUs. Instead, this is a situation where only the protagonist and Sans are the last ones in the Underground and they just so happened to run into each other.
