Phoenix - Fences (Slowed and Reverb)

So, as a Radio DJ and music dabbler I wanted to understand the work and experience of singing a live set - I set myself a task, and  recorded in my lounge some of the favourite songs I have grown up with.  These are unedited, unpolished but mixed and mastered by me in the hope that they might sound better!!!  It was a challenge I wanted to do so I can speak from experience about just how much work goes in to performing live and also getting the sound levels right, the vocals right, the mix and delivery of them right and it is no easy task I can tell you.  They are raw, just as they were recorded so I am not expecting them to be anything other than a moment in time for me, learning and growing from all the wonderful music I hear you all create.  I am in awe of you all. That's why I dabble, of course I enjoy it too, always have been singing around the house, who doesn't do that; but more importantly I can understand the pain of the modern emerging Artist and the work that goes in to producing their creative work.  Please do let me have your feedback because as you know, its the way we grow - thank you for stopping by and having a listen - I hope you enjoyed my dabbling as much as I did doing this experiment. PS - its not perfect!  There's the odd note here and there off key but I've left all of them in - because that's live and I can't change that and that's another lesson for me!
