With 17 of the 21 races falling to Irish-trained horses so far, Nick and Lydia examine the many and varied reasons that the home trained horses can barely land a blow against the visitors and ask whether the incentives to produce and keep quality horses in the UK are sufficient. La alcaldesa María Aurelia Leal López exhorta a la población y a los comerciantes a cumplir todos los protocolos de prevención ante el fuerte incremento de contagios
En sesión del Consejo Municipal de Salud y del Consejo Ciudadano para Mitigar los Efectos del COVID-19 se aprobó el cierre de bares, cantinas, playas y calles alrededor del Mercado Municipal, y la estricta aplicación del semáforo rojo en Guasave, debido al fuerte incremento de contagios y fallecimientos por esta pandemia. 
“Al gobierno le corresponde emitir las medidas sanitarias y a la ciudadanía le corresponde acatarlas”, expresó la alcaldesa María Aurelia Leal López, quien señaló que van a ser muy enérgicos en la aplicación de estas acciones con apoyo de Salud, Seguridad Pública, Tránsito Municipal, Protección Civil y Oficialía Mayor. 
La presidenta municipal precisó que se ha triplicado el número de casos de diciembre a la fecha, debido al relajamiento social, por lo que pidió el apoyo de la ciudadanía en la prevención, pero también de los comerciantes, a quienes aclaró que en el caso del Mercado Municipal no se están cerrando los negocios, sino las calles alrededor para evitar aglomeraciones, y se mantendrá esta medida hasta que el semáforo epidemiológico baje.
