Tom in for Nick and joined by senior writer at the Racing Post Lee Mottershead to reflect on the news that Robbie Dunne has had his ban for bullying Bryony Frost reduced to ten months on appeal. Lee gives his view on the ban reduction and also shares his disappointment as to the tone of yesterday’s appeal. We look ahead to the Scottish Grand National this weekend where Sandy Thomson sends out two runners and also speak to flat trainer David Loughnane who looks set to have a runner in each of the first Classics of the season. Trainer Gay Kelleway also joins us to talk about her participation in the Racing to Help Ukraine convoy on 10th April and her reasons for going.

Nick and Lee also talk over the reheated debate surrounding the Five Day Cheltenham Festival and the recently announced consultation process, while Lee gives confident shouts for the 1000 and 2000 Guineas following the running of the key trials. Other guests today include trainer William Knight, whose Newcastle winner Check and Challenge has emerged as an interesting Guineas outsider, and owner Mike Grech, whose Brandy Love won the Grade One at Fairyhouse yesterday and whose Floueur is fancied to win today's Irish Grand National. They begin with the breaking news of the retirement of Dave Roberts, whose influence over British jump racing through the last four decades has been incalculable and will forever be associated with the 20 consecutive championships accrued by the record breaking Sir AP McCoy. Roberts tells Nick what prompted his decision and considers some of the highlights of his storied career. Elsewhere on today's show, Nick and Cornelius consider Richard Fahey's announcement the Perfect Power will target the 2000 Guineas in the company of agent Richard Brown, who bought the horse and his sire Ardad at the same Goffs UK Breeze UP sale.
