A weird, ambient experimental thing I created about a month ago. I mostly use it for my doom/noise band Earthworm Von Doom, as it makes a good soundscape for something dark and heavy. Almost all of the sounds come from my bass guitar or my turntables - synthesis, recording and editing was done on Reason 8. 

Induction (Noise/Avant-Garde)

A tribute I did for one of my favorite themes for one of my favorite shows ever, Elfen Lied ("Song of the Elves" in German). The song "Lilium" is a hauntingly beautiful hymnal style contemporary piece arranged in a Gregorian chant style in Ecclesiastical Latin.  It features lyrics from Biblical passages and Latin hymns. I performed all of the bass and cello tracks. Nylon-string classical guitar performance by Joshua Carr. All synthesis, recording, editing and mixing done by me in Reason 8.  I do not own the song, this is simply my take on it. Original piece is composed by Yukio Kondo, arranged by Kayo Konishi, and performed by Noma Kumiko.

Anyway, this is a song I've been working on recently. Not finished yet, but it was influenced by 90s Japanese underground hip hop, such as Nujabes and Kodomo, two of my favorite conceptual beatmakers ever. Drums done on an MPC2500, bass and keys performed by me. Yes, that is actual rain, with a lot of reverb and chorus added to it, recorded on my back porch during a storm lol. As usual, all synthesis, recording and mixing done by me in Reason 8.
