A Larger Yes

This song landed during an early morning dog walk.  The neighborhood trees were looking spectacular with most branches bare and glistening from the morning rain.  I was struck by the shape and variety of each tree, some with strong arms reaching upwards, others elongated like the lobes of a lung, alveoli and all, still others circled round, into heart-like shapes.  The connection was palpable and a love song was born.

A song for the healing of the planetary waters......this Japanese mantra 'The Grand Invocation' is promoted by Masaru Emoto for World Peace . Such is its power ,it was used to successfully purify a polluted lake near Fukushima. I was so honoured that Masaru discovered and shared my song before he passed and was very happy about it .

This track was inspired by Martha Graham, an American modern dancer who broke new ground in the dance world during the mid-1900's. Graham titled her autobiography, "Blood Memory," in alignment with the concept of dancing or moving from one's blood and feeling the presence of the ancestors inside the lived experience of one's own body.
