J’ai réécrit le texte latin du Lacrymosa, en gardant son élan spirituel, mais en l’adressant à une autre entité : Gaïa, la Terre-Mère.

Le morceau se divise en deux volets :

I) L’appel des humains – coupables, fragiles, désorientés.

II) La plainte de la Terre – majestueuse, endeuillée, vivante encore.

Le latin devient ici une langue de l’âme, hors dogme, hors église — une prière adressée à ce qui nous dépasse et nous porte tout à la fois.

“I’m not an environmental activist — just a human casting a lucid gaze upon our world.”

I rewrote the Latin text of the Lacrimosa, keeping its spiritual momentum but directing it toward another entity: Gaia, Mother Earth.

The track unfolds in two parts:

I) The cry of humans – guilty, fragile, disoriented.

II)The lament of the Earth – majestic, grieving, still alive.

Latin here becomes a language of the soul — beyond dogma, beyond church — a prayer to something greater, yet deeply within.

A collaboration album by Takahiro Kido and Yuki Murata, who are members of Anoice. This album includes 10 songs chosen from not only Anoice, but also their solo projects, which were recorded together with the chamber orchestra, made up of eight violinists, three violists, three cellists, two bassists, and a flutist and harpist. Takahiro Kido took charge of the conductor role for the orchestra and Yuki Murata played the piano for all the songs.

My 3rd experience of playing of an improvisation on the new: VSL Studio Concert D 1887. I’ve decided to play in a very ambient piano sound with a long reverb. And I’ve used an external reverb - LX480 from Relab. I really enjoyed the result. It sounds not too clear and still a bit “imperfect”. And I think this kind of a sound is a bit close to a Harold Budd’s piano in his iconic collaborative work with Brian Eno. And I really enjoy this a bit old school sound even in the long and deep reverb. Well, I think Concert D 1887 is my very favorite piano on this moment because I can play a cinematic, classical and ambient piano, and I like all three. This piano is really versatile for me.
