Gentle thoughts about the past floated through, as I sat and tinkled on my guitar, leading towards the arrival of an inquisitive riff, which gained momentum, as I acknowledged a sort of quiet nostalgia and melancholy for the things that didn't last long enough or things that might have been ... lots of weird and wonderful effects in use here ...
