Fran Soto - Zion's Glory

Back to my soundcloud garage after ages for working on another favorite. I am a huge fan of Samir Thahir's  Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvvanna Bhoomi (2013). In my opinion its also Rex Vijayan's best musical work to date. Simply couldn't resist myself from creating an extended bg mashup for this totally captivating soundtrack that borders on the realms of reality and fantasy. This musical theme intersperses many layers of selected bits of the movie's bgm score with segments from the title 'Neelakasham' song track as it attempts to capture the essence of Kasi's journey through the heartlands of India in search of Assi, his lost love. A journey that ends up being a one of a kind life changing experience. Rex Vijayan's magical musical score completely engulfs us with its air of mystery, adventure, discovery and a sense of deep self introspection. Hope you all enjoy it :)

When I initially saw this gate I thought of passing through it as if entering into a different world and so is the music...

This Version is my first cross instrumental collab on SC and I feel very honoured that Lyod put all his passion and feel into this song to let this song become a wonderful journey beginning right behind the gate entering into a strange and mystical world of sound....

This is a piano waltz that I started composing last year but failing to find that "special song" adapted to be the music to accompany the first dance of my wife and I at our recent wedding. It had to be slowed down to make it danceable, but it definitely made our first dance even more special.
