This gifted DJ/Producer and singer is known for her flexible DJ sets, ranging from 140bpm Bass music or Dubstep to a broad picture of Jungle/Drum & Bass. Her sets have been heard at renowned venues from Fabric to Boomtown and Lakota. Charla is also a resident DJ at Wub Club and UK jungle.
Charla grew up regularly attending Iration Steppas' club nights at Sub Dub, Leeds. No wonder her Drum & Bass productions majestically weave in riddim textures and samples that ring bells to all lovers of dubby sounds. Her proper take on all things Jungle and Dub aroused Digital's attention in 2020 on the EQ50 mentorship program - the collective of women working towards fairer representation within Drum & Bass (www.eq50.co.uk).
