Produced by acclaimed sound artist-composer, Alex Sharp Cole, who composed all background instrumentation(everything other than the female vocal and acoustic guitar) and who bases his artistic practice as performance artist, songwriter and producer in Gothenburg, Sweden.

When the novice artist, Martina Book, approached Alex Sharp Cole and asked him if he would possibly record, produce ...and help make the vision she had of her song into a reality.  Alex Sharp Cole agreed to do so, free of charge -- his only request was that he would be credited fairly for the work he had done -- Alex Sharp Cole believes in doing this... in helping the plight of up and coming artists.  

He considers it his mission to bring good music  into the world.

Lorraine is written, recorded and performed by Alex Sharp Cole.  It is part of his third released album, "The Gamlestan Apartment Recordings" a unique, flowing 53-minute progressive composition of experimental folk, pop and Americana.

This is a song I spent hours upon hours, days upon days in 2014 trying to capture the magic (at the mixing stage...though the vocal & guitar performance is one live take.)

This is a version I'm calling "late night mix," in order to differentiate it from the many, many others.  ..it is a 24-bit version, for those of you with a solid set of speakers or headphones.  

(If using speakers, please turn it up as loud still comfortable to get the music as it is intended!)
