If you’ve been following some of East Germany’s most exciting producers, you will definitely have come across @djpurpur, an absolute sweetheart and real keeper. DJing and producing Electro, Techno, Breaks and, most importantly, anything in between that will get you dancing, he’ll keep the energy as high as it can get while always keeping the fun alive. DJ Purpur has gained some major street credibility by not only being a defender of peak time breakdance battles on dance floor, but also for producing beats for Halle’s sickest emerging hip hop stars like Kleptos and Cyndholz, never missing an opportunity to link up with blood brother Partizan or his OG2G gang, too.

@marengo042 is a Leipzig-based DJ and co-founder of @me1ro . He is known for his versatile and energetic sets, blending various electronic genres. He creates an unique vibe that keeps the dancefloor moving.Today's space bouncing journey is delivered by his weapons of choice: the turntables. Watch out for some progy and juicy vinyls.

I had not only the honor of playing at HÖR Berlin for the second time, but also the chance to wear an Ally Hamburg shirt for the occasion and contribute to the campaign.

Ally Hamburg and Abtreibung Entkriminalisieren – initiatives for something that should be self-evident: the right to access abortion without legal barriers. But in Germany, it’s still a crime. §218 StGB makes it punishable by law, unless you qualify under certain exceptions. Even then, the system is built on hurdles: mandatory counseling, waiting periods, restricted access, high costs, and the fact that so few doctors even provide the procedure. The result? Stigmatization, financial burdens, worsening medical care, and, ultimately, a restriction on bodily autonomy.

A reform could have changed that. But it failed. Blocked by FDP and CDU/CSU. Not because of democratic debate, but because they actively prevented it from even reaching a vote.

Elections are coming up. If you care about fundamental rights, vote for those who actually stand for them.

Carluschka @ HÖR Berlin 080225

Carluschka is a Hamburg-based DJ whose sound moves between
progressive house and acid house. With a love for crisp bongo
percussions, rolling basslines, and proper Störgeräusche.
Rooted deeply in 90s progressive sounds, her style is textured and
immersive, blending slow and deep moments with fast and playful
twists. Never too serious, always on point.
Beyond the decks, Carluschka is the founder of FLINTA Roundtable*
, a platform dedicated to exchange and education within the music
industry. She also hosts Two Girls, One Club at the Golden Pudel Club
and is a resident at PAL and Synthetic Love.
