Asking For My Heart Back Is a song that's clearly about giving your all into someone, even can go as far to say that you gave them your heart. You gave them your heart because they seem like your kin, that person you want to be with and she wants to be with you and loves you..but the problem being is that the person isn't there for you as much as you thought they'd be this shoulder to go lean on. It's a song about heartbreak because you placed too much trust into someone..and now you take action by Asking for your heart back.

My name is OPPtimistic and i started writing music around the age of 13. I’d say that my influences for loving music so much would be anything from the early 2000’s and even a further back like 80’s and 90’s. At the age of 17 i begun to start writing lyrics more professionally after finding out that i am ‘good’ at writing and i got my emotions into the writing with me he Intention to share these emotions to connect with fans that i’ll hopefully gain soon and even if they haven’t experienced what i felt, then i’ll leave it up to them to still listen and understand what i had to go through.
