This track isn’t a declaration of my personal faith or worldview—it’s a creative exploration of what it means to live inside the machine. I do believe in life beyond this world, just not as a simple escape or reward. “12 Ravens” challenges both the comfort of certainty and the paralysis of cynicism. At the end of the day, I believe in acting from a real compass: giving because you care, being someone others look up to, not just “winning.” The system is real, but so is our power to choose how we show up inside it. Sometimes, seeing the lie is the first step to finding what’s true.

Follow her voyage from outer space to deep sea, across vast dunes and raw wastelands. It is a record about our traces and memories, allowing the listener to imagine what echoes we leave behind for whoever or whatever comes next.

Everything you hear on this episode came from a Louisville to San Antonio road trip in a car already packed heavy with Uwe's treasured record collection.  We hit up fertile record-digging pastures in Memphis, Little Rock, Austin, and San Antonio, and here's the harvest that went into James' record box!
