The Night - Demo

This song was written for a short film made by my brother and sister about the simple things in life being free. They liked the demo so much that they ended up using it - which to me speaks volumes. 

Over the years I tried to overproduce it, to fix up the mistakes, but there was just something about the demo I kept coming back to. It's loose, light, free and full of flaws, kind of like life. Hope it takes you somewhere.

I originally wanted to write this music in a different, something house style, but somehow it turned out differently, with a lot of jazz motifs coming into the amni. That's what it became!

In the process of walking around to find a musical home I came over Wolfgang Fuller, guitarrist and master mind of the band "The Great Eleven" from Karlsruhe / Germany. I took their song "All I got", restructured it from scratch and added guitars, keyboards and vocals.
