Classic motifs, familiar instruments, and... a quadruple-tracked guitar??? Yes, it's the definitive version of Maniac's Revenge! The track I started in a Discord call with the original Dusttrust team has come quite a long way, and has become a fan favorite. As many of you know, my last public release for this track was my unfinished WIP for the third version, and I believe it was Nick's MR III--and the incredible work of the folks at Ari's Dusttrust remaster--that inspired me to finish it once and for all. It took a very long time, and with almost 20 hours spent on it, this is the result.

This version contains motifs from many different versions, finished and unfinished. The key of version 1, the intensity of version 2, the chaos of version 3, and motifs from all of them and more. Putting it in the key of MR I not only suits the battle better, but acts as my way of paying homage to the track where it all began. It is my hope that fans old and new, of Dusttrust and otherwise can get something out of this track, and that this track will satisfy those who were taken aback by Dissension's lack of intensity! Hey everyone! I'm back with another addition to the Sonic x Genshin project! Out of these, this one was admittedly the easiest to transform into a Sonic theme, mostly because of how overall straightforward the melodies are in it. I did take some creative liberties with the arrangement here, but that's been the case with all of these because I have to simplify each of them to better fit Sonic's style.

Here, I tried to do something similar to what I did with the Liyue stage, 'Jadefall Cliffside', by mixing the region's main theme with Sonic's classic rock style. Like that one, this one takes heavy inspiration from Sonic Unleashed and some from Sonic Forces' modern stages.

If you're wondering, yes I'm splitting Dharma Forest and the Great Red Sand into two stages, one for the forest and one for the desert. This is because I don't feel like those two would blend too well if they were in one stage, and it wouldn't give each of them as much time to shine on their own as well. (It also gives me an excuse to include more Sonic characters in this, so yay). I'm not sure if I will tackle that one or the Nod-Krai stage yet, though. That depends on if I get to it before Nod-Krai releases (which, let's be honest, I probably won't).

As for why I chose Amy and Cream here, Amy was always going to be in Sumeru. This is mostly because I feel like her hammer could have fun interactions in the stage with the mushrooms and other objects you find around Sumeru in Genshin. I chose to add Cream as well because they're often partnered together and I wanted to put her in here somewhere.

Oh boy, this one was a BLAST to work on.
Originally about 2 months ago, @neverendingmegalos, @literally-fire and I were suppose to collab on John's "final" STDD cover.
But complications with FL versions made the collab impossible.
And, that was the fate of the project.

UNTIL.
I decided to pull a Closure Project and finish this bad boy.
This, as I stated before, was so fun to work on and I honestly believe this song is one of my best out there. I really hope you all enjoy this as much as I did making it!
