This piece is about the immense forces surrounding us in nature..... Starting slow and building up gradually, with background strings and double piano part from 2:00. What is your opinion about it?

Delighted to present my latest collaboration with The Phaige, one half of Soundcloud stalwarts One and Other, alongside Jaime J Ross. This is a trippy, exotic backcloth with a cold North wind blowing through. 
Gary once again amazed with his creativity and his multi-layered production. He has such a keen ear for detail and brushstrokes to enhance and improve. What grabbed me from the outset was the slinky, fluid bass playing, but there are many levels across the frequencies to hook you in. Always a fun process to work with him.

Another track inspired by "The Wake", a post apocalyptic novel by Paul Kingsnorth.

Buccmaster and his friends visit a village untouched by the Norman invasion. They participate in a village celebration, which Buccmaster looks back on as the very last joyful day. Even so, everyone there fears for the future.

I used my Flamenco guitar again... but economically, my early versions were too Iberian!

Arguably my most popular track, at least it was for 20 years until I started writing new stuff in 2022. The violin solo near the beginning is one of my favourite bits I've recorded, but the "guitar" solo (played on keys) needs work... I don't know anything about playing real guitar! This is a pretty old recording which I'd love to hear some day with better sound quality.

Rich, pampered girl from Abilene, Texas meets a trail-worn cowboy with a checkered past, and they head north to avoid her family's scrutiny. It's a doomed relationship from the start, of course, and only lasts until the snow breaks.  Abilene comes calling - she heads back home, and the cowboy does what all cowboys in trouble do (at least in the songs I listen to) - he splits for the border.  True story?  Maybe...
 
The timeline in the song is a little convoluted - begins in the middle and then back to the start, then to the end and back to the middle etc.,..   But you old cowhands will figure it out.

Female voices are Julia Avery and Madison Carr.
 
And the winter would pass......
