Hailing from Saint Petersberg (Russia), the extremely talented Jiminy Hop made his initial appearance on our imprint in early 2021 with his single - "Tension" and soon afterwards followed it up with a milestone 3-tracker EP featuring "Summered", "Contemplation" and "Desire", an ode to the the melody-rich side of progressive house with it's bright tones and ethereal emotions. After garnering wide-spread support, we're thrilled to present our 54th release that features new remixes of the EP by label returnees - Eric Lune, Dimuth K and Anton MAKe.

Returning to the imprint after his debut EP and contribution to our 'Tales of Time' series in 2019 is Melbourne (Australia) based artist - Eric Lune. Ever since, he's been consistently putting out incredible music, most notably on Madloch's 'Sound Avenue' + '3rd Avenue', Guy Mantzur's 'Plattenbank' and the US Goliath 'Proton Music'. Revisiting Jiminy Hop's title track - "Summered", Eric Lune channeled his inner sun-kissed memories and elevated the track into a whole new dimension by bringing in as many euphoric feelings, highlighted by a 90's inspired lead and guitar riff.

Whether operating in solo capacity or as a duo, GMJ and Matter have taken their elusive production touch to the industry’s most esteemed imprints. From Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music and UK behemoth Anjunadeep, to Australia's long-standing Balance Music and their own burgeoning Meanwhile imprint, it’s GMJ and Matter’s storytelling style that continues to surprise and inspire even the genre’s most discerning trendsetters. Replug has also served as a landing spot for the talented Aussie’s, with the release of Matter’s ‘Satori’ EP marking his label debut in 2017, while GMJ first arrived in 2016 with a contribution to the label’s Replugged, Vol. 2 collection. Now, fresh off their latest Meanwhile vehicle ‘EXT 135’, GMJ and Matter land back on Replug to begin the new year with ‘Metanoia’.  

 As a recent favourite of Replug boss Cid Inc, EP opener and title selection 'Metanoia' finds GMJ and Matter composing with a strong sense of space. Instantly seductive, its looping hypnotism and subtle musicality never fail to command your attention, driving each other into a whirlpool of spiralling emotions, making for a flexible club track that bends between scenes while injecting vibrant energy into the dancefloor. Rich atmospheres, effervescent percussion and dubbed out tones are at a premium across the eight-minute excursion, with each sound being an event in a slowly expanding landscape, zooming out to reveal a world of scale in which depth and contrast coax perfectly with rhythm and melody.  

 Moving forward to selection two, GMJ and Matter masterfully synthesize their talents into one singular meditative vision that is 'In Bloom'. Building with a subdued pulse, its smoky resonance eventually gives way to melodic experimentation, where textural and structural dimensions blanket subterranean wobbles and tightly knit percussion, resulting in a profound mood setting experience. Thematically distinct throughout, the duo’s misty melodies are haunting and highly memorable, ringing out in timeless suspension across a mood lifting break, before segueing into a utopian finale that resonates with a rare combination of hope and reflection. 

 The 'Metanoia' project is a fantastical journey across a vivid electronic cosmos, one where GMJ and Matter carefully balance technical vision, with thought-provoking musicality and elaborate rhythmic sequences, making for a two-track affair that brings us closer to knowing the enigmatic duo, while continuing to live in the mystery of their design. Italian producer Anthony Mea is one of our main resident artists already 12 years. In his discography he has two albums to date both of which were released on Spring Tube - 'Mea Spell' (2013), and 'Border' (2014). After that Anthony released with us tons of EPs and singles. But only 11 years later we see him with the third album.

The album is titled 'Romance Soul'. It's full of romantic and melodic deep house stuff with that Anthony is known the most. And it's the music we at Spring Tube love so much.
