With a touch of Simon & Garfunkel in there, this piece is a kind of re-interpretation of Earthly Delights by AURORA with the instrumental of her other song A Soul With No King (the Nature version).

Credit and praise to Mr Håkon Aase for his playing on that fiddle in A Soul With No King.. utterly spellbinding! I heard it in a dream in which I followed someone, through a garden that felt like a jungle, and we wore no shoes. I heard a voice softly saying, 'First, you made for me a river, so I would have water' and I felt at peace.. I wanted to recreate that as soon as I woke. It made sense that it should exist as a musical piece. So I did it. Here you go.

This took me just under 24 hours to record, using different instrument sounds on my digital piano.
I love soundtrack music and this is one of my favourite tracks to listen to, so I felt very excited to try this out. I usually record music live, so this was quite different for me, and I think I've learnt some valuable lessons about recording 'soundtrack' music. It takes patience, first of all, and every ounce of your attention. And that was really enjoyable, to just completely focus on the melody, the sound, and notice how each part blended into the other.
I really look forward to hearing the score for the third Prometheus film.
